The short version: EstateVis processes your content through our secure server to generate AI responses. We do not sell your data or store your generated content beyond what's needed to deliver the Service.

This Privacy Policy describes how EstateVis ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use our Service at estatevis.com.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

Email address and name when you purchase a subscription via Stripe
Payment information (handled entirely by Stripe — we never see your card details)
Property details, market information, and other inputs you enter into the app to generate content
Communications you send us via email

Information collected automatically:

Basic website analytics (page views, referral sources) via Google Analytics
IP address and browser type for security purposes

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Process your content generation requests via our AI infrastructure
Process your subscription and send payment receipts
Respond to your support requests
Send important product updates and notices
Improve the Service and troubleshoot issues
Comply with legal obligations

3. How Your Content Is Processed

When you generate content in EstateVis, your inputs are sent to our secure server (hosted on Netlify), which forwards the request to Anthropic's API to generate a response. This means your inputs briefly pass through our server infrastructure. We do not permanently store the content of your generation requests or the AI-generated responses. Your agent profile preferences are stored locally in your browser only and are not stored on our servers.

AI generation requests are subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Stripe — to process payments. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Anthropic — to process AI generation requests through our server. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
Netlify — our hosting and serverless function provider. Subject to Netlify's Privacy Policy.
Legal authorities — when required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and business purposes. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@estatevis.com.

6. Local Storage

EstateVis stores your agent profile, usage count, results tracker data, and access code in your browser's local storage. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers except where necessary to personalize content generation. You can clear this data at any time from the Settings page in the app.

7. Cookies

EstateVis uses minimal cookies necessary for the Service to function and Google Analytics for aggregate usage statistics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies beyond Google Analytics.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted HTTPS connections and secure serverless infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We recommend you do not enter sensitive client personal information (such as social security numbers or financial details) into the app.

9. Children's Privacy

EstateVis is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@estatevis.com. We will respond within 30 days.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
